Chief Minister Punjab Green Tractor Scheme Phase 3

The Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has officially launched the Green Tractor Scheme Phase III (GTS Phase 3) for the year 2025–26. This is one of the biggest agricultural support programs in Punjab’s recent history. The main goal of this scheme is to help small and medium farmers buy modern tractors at a much lower price through a government subsidy of PKR 5 Lakh per tractor.

Why Was Punjab Green Tractor Scheme Phase 3 Launched?

Modern farming requires proper machinery. Without a tractor, a farmer has to spend a lot of money on rented machines or manual labor. This slows down farming work and increases costs. To solve this problem, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif introduced the Green Tractor Scheme.

Phase III specifically focuses on small tractors ranging from 50 to 65 horsepower (HP). These smaller tractors are more suitable for routine farm work, small fields, and everyday agricultural activities. Phase III is designed so that more farmers especially those with smaller landholdings can benefit compared to earlier phases.
